This course dives into the behavioral science of error correction, teaching participants how to use prompting, reinforcement, and repetition to help clients learn from mistakes without frustration. RBTs will explore various types of error correction procedures, when to use each, and how to maintain motivation throughout the process. With a focus on promoting accuracy and learner confidence, this course equips RBTs to support lasting skill acquisition and reduce repeated errors effectively. Learning Objectives 1. Identify and describe different error correction procedures and their applications in skill acquisition programs. 2. Implement error correction methods that promote learning and maintain client motivation. 3. Evaluate the effectiveness of error correction strategies and communicate progress to the supervising BCBA.
