About
Audio Course | 0.5 PDUs | Focus: Data Accurate ABC data collection is the foundation of effective behavior intervention. In this course, RBTs will learn how to clearly identify antecedents, behaviors, and consequences to uncover the âwhyâ behind challenging behavior. Through practical examples and step-by-step guidance, participants will discover how to collect objective, detailed data in real-world settings without losing efficiency. The training also covers how to recognize common pitfalls, identify behavior patterns, and communicate meaningful observations to the BCBA. By mastering ABC data, RBTs can play a critical role in creating data-driven, individualized treatment plans that lead to real behavior change. Learning Objectives 1. Identify and define the components of ABC data (antecedent, behavior, and consequence) and explain how each contributes to understanding the function of behavior. 2. Demonstrate accurate and objective data collection by describing behavior using observable, measurable terms and recording relevant environmental contexts. 3. Analyze and interpret ABC data patterns to generate hypotheses about behavioral function and communicate findings effectively to the supervising BCBA.
